Last weekend Sep 6/7th was the first time I was on a mountain bike since my “ragdoll” though an Aspen grove in Crested Butte. Our first day out we gotta late start and where only able to make a few runs due to some mechanical issues…Dan’s front tire melted on the back of the Element and I was having a front brake problem, AGAIN!!! The dirt on Mammoth Mountain is mostly made up of decomposed granite, it’s kinda weird to ride in let alone walk in it. Actually riding was pretty fun up to a certain point… That there picture was taken just a little too early.

What do mean by "It's the LAST RIDE"???? Are you hanging up the bike (or maybe just temporarily until you're 40something aging old #@#$ heals - huh? Donuts anyone?
No...I maybe exiting the world of downhill only type riding.
