We arrived in Durango just in time for supper, It's seems every time we arrived some place it was in time to eat...Hmmmm? After taking in some on the local flavor(s) we "hit the hay" Because we had to get up early for a train ride... The Durango to Silverton train left at 9:00AM. Of coarse we had the Palor Car(Bar Car).What a awesome ride!!! We all gotta do it some time. It's an all day thing, drinks start flowing at around 9:00 and are finished until 7 hours later. We were sure our bar tab was going to break the sound bearer but it was way cheaper than we all thought! The train ride is not all boozing, you actually learning something on the way. Plus they stop in Silverton for a couple of hours so you can continue partying in town...This was such a fun day it's had to find the words...You had to be there.
